In the midst of the Western Carolina Smokey Mountains there is a valley. In that valley there is an orchard with the ripest, reddest, most delicious apples. I was lucky to pick some. Here are my photos:
In the surrounding mountains the season of fall touches the foliage with a cool finger and golden reds and oranges burst forth.
One mile high in the Western Carolina sky, Grandfather Mountain rises tall and majestic. Home to many varied species of flora and fauna the wind blows through underneath swinging bridge.High above at all on a windswept rock the valley in its colorful glory lays spread out at our feet. Lakes, mansions, and resorts make the scenery as if pieces of a model train set.
It was so nice to see people celebrating the season with their decoration and displays.Pumpkins, scarecrows, colorful flowers, apple spice cake, and hot chocolate or spice pumpkin latte, are the things that make me relish and treasure that magical time of Halloween and Thanksgiving.
